Paying for your period is silly. Whether you’re someone who can afford it or not, tampons are not a luxury item that you should factor into your monthly spending.
Brands pay to advertise in the BITS box by providing product samples and discount codes. The brand partnerships fee covers the cost of the period care, packaging and part of the shipping.
The intention here is to free up your spending capacity, to try new products, and to align with brands who are using their marketing budget for good.

Frequently asked questions
How many tampons are included?
Each BITS box includes 45 free tampons. On average, this should last you 3 months. You can choose regular or maxi absorbency.
When is the next box dropping?
BITS drops quarterly boxes. The next BITS box will be sent out in July 2026.
I don't know if I registered correctly
Don't stress, if you popped your email in - you're registered! You will only receive an email in late June with details on how to claim a box. We don't want to spam you with emails (its the worst!) so we keep it minimal. Follow us on socials @bits.period to stay up to date!
Do you have pads available?
Not at the moment. Pads are much larger therefore take up more warehousing space, and space in the box, which increases shipping costs significantly :( It's definitely a goal for the end of the year.
Are the tampons organic?
Yes! The free tampons are made of organic cotton and wrapped in paper instead of plastic
If i registered, am i guaranteed a box?
No, registering your email means you'll get the information on how to claim a box in late June.
Can I donate to bits?
This is very generous of you, thank you. BITS is not a registered charity, so unfortunately we can't accept direct donations. There is merch available where $18 profit of each product goes directly back into the business.
